Admission: 
General admission is $6.50 for everyone over 1, and includes entry into the ArtVille area and into the Art Gallery exhibitions. Admission is FREE for members and those under the age of one.

Method of Payment:

The museum accepts cash, checks and major credit cards.

Hours: 
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and noon through 4 p.m., Sunday.

Parking:
 
Free. There are two public parking lots located next to the facility and numerous street parking spaces available.

Additional parking is available at the lot on the corner of Macdonald and Pepper Place, as well as the City of Mesa parking lot on the corner of Macdonald and First Street across from Queen of Peace church. This fenced lot on the corner of Macdonald and Pepper Place opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes at 5:00 p.m.

Schools and Groups: 
Group admission is $5.00 per person. Organized groups over ten people must call and reserve a space 5 days prior to their visit. Educational programs that include guided exhibition tours are available by reservation. Please review our Group Confirmation Form for more information.

Dining: 
The museum offers the Family Zone with several vending machines and a few tables for snacking. There are several nearby restaurants if you wish to eat lunch or dinner. For more information about local dining ask our front desk staff. Food and drink are not allowed in the galleries.

Accessibility: 
The museum is wheelchair accessible.

What does it cost to come in?
Admission is $6.50 per person. Children under 12 months and members get in free.

How is the museum funded?
The Arizona Museum for Youth is a public/private partnership between the City of Mesa and the Arizona Museum for Youth Friends, Inc. Funding comes from these two organizations and from admission costs, donations, grants, memberships and proceeds from our Gallery Shop. If you would like to support the museum, contact Sunnee Spencer

How many people are included in a Primary Membership?
Four family members are included in a Primary Membership.

How long does it take to visit the museum?
Plan an average visit to the museum taking between  1.5 and 2 hours.

The nearest ATM is located at
US Bank on Main Street in Mesa.

Which age groups are appropriate for visiting the museum?
All ages! The museum's target audience ranges from 0-12 years of age; however, we encourage art experiences for lifelong learning at all ages.

Do you sell food? Where is the nearest restaurant that kids will enjoy?
There are vending machines located in the Family Zone for a light snack. There are many kid-friendly restaurants that are within blocks of the museum and a list of these eateries is available at the museum's front desk.

Where can I leave my stroller?
The museum has a designated area inside for parking strollers.
